Appraisal Solutions Northwest is based out of Thurston County, Washington. Its owner and principal appraiser, Christina (Chris) Fagernes, performs appraisal services throughout all of Western Washington and areas of Eastern Washington and the Columbia Gorge. Clients include property owners, attorneys, accountants, lenders, private consultants (engineering and right-of-way firms), Local Agencies (cities, counties and municipalities) and the Washington State Department of Transportation.
In May 2008, Chris formed Appraisal Solutions Northwest for the purpose of providing clients with high quality and timely appraisal and appraisal review services. Her reports are delivered on time at a reasonable and competitive cost. The appraisal industry is ever changing, and Chris employs the latest technology with an emphasis on continuing education.

Qualifications & Experience (Christina Fagernes)
Experience
Since August 2004, Chris has focused primarily on eminent domain and right-of-way valuation services. She has prepared hundreds of eminent domain appraisals and project funding estimates for a wide variety of private consultants and Local Agencies. Chris is certified as a General Real Estate Appraiser through the State of Washington and is on the Washington State Department of Transportation’s approved appraiser and review appraiser lists. Chris’ understanding and adherence to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions (USFLA or "Yellow Book") and the WSDOT Right-of-Way Manual ensures funding compliance regardless of the source.
